"A piece of art evolved through the observer and art [...] does not reproduce the visible, rather it makes it visible"

--Paul Klee.

Mariusz Kruk's body of work is known for its poetic form, telling the tale of the world around him. His paintings, drawings and objects never fail to astound his audience with philosophical references and reflections on the human condition. The artist tells stories through micro-events that are contained in his works, representing often-unnoticed phenomena that are right in front of us, though buried amongst millions of other fragments that are constantly demanding our attention. Kruk attempts to isolate these 'in-between' moments and freeze their images in his paintings, collages and assemblages that are created out of old and discarded objects, recycled and upcycled garbage.
