The Dubliner Irish Pub

The most venerable of the city’s Irish pubs, the popular Dubliner lies hidden on the west side of the grand Imperial Castle, like a secret underground expat clubhouse. Clad in timber fittings and typical Irish trappings, stained glass windows add a splendid warmth to the atmosphere despite their disappointing brand logos. In addition to frequent live music and pub quizzes, there's darts and a full menu of proper UK-style pub grub. The prices for Guinness and the many Irish whiskeys behind the bar keep the students away – not a bad thing in our book. Stroll by to see if you can hear the raucous racket from the street; if so, leave all your troubles and squeeze inside for a lively time.
