The author works in the field of abstract and expressive painting, and many of his latest works are inspired by a trip to the beautiful and multifaceted island of Sicily. 
"In my paintings I use the light and the richness of colour to create space - inspired by the sea, the coast, the natural formations or the ancient cities. Nothing is defined or limited. The shapes appear as if from the depth of the canvas and then gradually dissipate in the palette of colours. Contours and boundaries are relative.
