POSTPONED DUE TO CURRENT GOVERNMENT BAN ON CULTURAL AND SPORTING EVENTS IN CLOSED SPACES

Sofia International Film Festival is (SIFF) the leading film festival in Bulgaria. It began in 1997 and this year marks it 24th edition. The festival aims to promote important and innovative works of modern world cinema to local, regional and international audiences, as well as to encourage cooperation between local and international filmmakers. The festival attracts more than 100 000 spectators annually.
Among this years highlights of the programme is the screening of this years Academy Award winner for Best Picture - the South Korean movie "Parasite". Another movie worth mentioning is the Oscar nominated documentary "Honeyland"; only two of the many remarkable movies that will be part of SIFF this year.
