One of Kraków's oldest cultural events, the Student Song Festival has been going strong since 1962, and has seen many a star borne upon its stage, including Ewa Demarczyk, Marek Grechuta, Maryla Rodowicz, Jacek Kaczmarski, Piotr Rogucki and many more. The final phase of a nationwide 'X-Factor'-style series of student songwriting and artistic competitions, the festival final in Kraków coronates this year's winners and typically sees the return of performing artists who took their first steps at the festival, launching successful careers. 

2025 is the 61st edition of the festival and will take place in various venues. The final concert will be performed at Klub Studio on October 19 by Maryla Rodowicz - laureate of the 1967 edition of the festival.
