ZIYP: Where is your favorite place to drink coffee or go out at night?
Filip:
42 Coffee Co. (at the corner of Draškovićeva and Vlaška) - my favourite place to drink good coffee, in a comfortable and beautiful setting, in the center of Zagreb. They offer freshly roasted coffee with a transparent origin (blend - superb blend of 70% Brazilian and 30% Indonesian coffee). The coffee will arouse all lovers of good and high-quality coffee.
Cafe Palainovka (Upper Town) - one of the top terraces in the city center, a quiet oasis for relaxing and sipping drinks with friends.
Torte i To (a pastry shop at several locations in the narrower and wider town center) - one of the the most famous and finest pastry shops in Zagreb, with lots of delicious cakes and cookies, for every palate. A must try!!!
Mundoaka Street Food (Petrinjska 2) - minimalist designed space in the city center with superb culinary delights that you must try!!!
Pepermint (Ilica 24) - a cafe by day and a club at night. A gathering spot for urban youth and a great place to send "foreigners" for a night out.

ZIYP: Where is your favourite place to relax in Zagreb?
Filip:
Melin (kalača-Kožarska 19) - a pleasant atmosphere, simple staff, an excellent selection of drinks, and a beautiful terrace in the center of tkalče, sometimes you can even listen to some good live music.

ZIYP: What is the best way to discover the city? Which activities do you recommend?
Filip:
One option is the tourist bus, which runs through the center of town and informs tourists about absolutely everything (about the history of the city, monuments, museums, bars, restaurants,...). To me it seems to be the fastest and most efficient option to find out as much information as possible about the city in the shortest time.

ZIYP: Where is the most ideal place to shop? What do you recommend as a souvenir from Zagreb?
Filip:
In addition to standard souvenirs, such as magnets, greeting cards etc ... I would recommend our local homemade products, such as rakije, wine, beer, sausage, cheese...

ZIYP: Which of the local specialties do you recommend as a "must-try" for visitors?
Filip:
I would recommend to try our homemade strudel at La štruk (Skalinska 5). I would also recommend to go to the pub Medvedgrad and try our local beer, as well as local wines at the finest restaurants in the center. Of course, to also taste the best beer in town, ABA 5th element at more than 50 locations in the city (more information about the locations can be found on our Facebook page).
