It might feel like an entire lifetime ago, but Yugoslavia’s final decade was a fascinating time for art. The Non-Aligned Movement was producing a new generation of fearless artists who weren’t afraid of smashing barriers and reinventing the game. This brilliant exhibition looks at work from 18 different countries, as varied as Bolivia and Zimbabwe (and Yugoslavia, of course), with non-alignment, anti-colonialism and transnational solidarity at its core. The exhibition includes photos, sculptures, paintings, and more, including creative texts by Luka Bekavac.
