Lele offers a small selection of Italian dishes with some rather surprising ingredients all served in a relaxed setting, tavolata style. The burrata on beetroot was tasty, the pine nuts adding some extra flavour, while the vinagrette on the carciofi alla Romana (artichokes) gave the dish a little too much acidity for our liking. That said, the pasta was firm and the sauce with salmon, dill, cream and vodka was a heavenly composition served in a hot stone pan, so it stays warm at your table. The pizza is prepared without tomato sauce here, white or bianco so to speak, and cut into pieces, so you can share them easily. The caramelised yellow tomatoes gave it a lovely and surprising sweetness. A lounge area and a bar with an impressive cocktail menu are also available and DJs often perform on weekends.
