In keeping with the zeitgeist, at Stripped you order your pizza at the bar choosing from multigrain, wholemeal linseed or gluten-free dough and from a dozen or so toppings, many of them organic and all without flavour enhancers. We chose the Naked Devil with buffalo mozzarella, spicy salame and wholemeal flour and after only a few minutes our buzzer indicated that our pizza was ready to be picked up at the counter. The thin-crust pizza looked scrumptious and the toppings fresh and tasty, but the wholemeal dough didn't quite live up to our expectations. It tasted more like a crispbread you might eat for breakfast, which affected the experience. On the positive side, we thankfully didn't have that heavy feeling in our stomach that we usually have after a pizza. That said, the hip and health-conscious crowd seems to like the pizzas and salads here anyway.
