Established in 1992, the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre in the Old Town Hall organizes around 40 artistic events and happenings annually, often running projects in tandem with Nordic and Baltic ministries and embassies, the EU and commercial sponsors. Projects include, but are not limited to, scientific and literary seminars, debates, art exhibitions, theatre productions, festivals and audiovisual presentations.
