If there are two things most Joburgers take seriously, it’s their coffee and their pets. Luckily, you don’t have to choose between the two: the city is full of cafés where your four-legged friend is just as welcome as you are. Grab a leash, pack a wagging tail, and enjoy a quality brew while your pup soaks up the sun (and maybe a treat or two).
We’ve rounded up the best spots in Joburg for a caffeine fix that are happy to host well-behaved dogs. Wherever you go, keep your pup leashed and remember to clean up after them.

And if you think that sounds good, wait until you see their doggy menu: it includes peanut butter dog treats, plus more substantial stuff. You might just be jealous of your furry friend.
