It's been a whole new world of festival-making since the Shakespeare Festival finally got to move into its impressive new building in 2014. Taking place annually in July and August, the Shakespeare Festival dates back to the mid-1990s and is dedicated to presenting the work of the great bard himself, as well as hosting 10 days of workshops, seminars, open rehearsals and meetings with actors and directors. The festival attracts Shakespearean and acting companies from around the world as well as an international audience with the high point the presentation of the annual Golden Yorick award.
