Gdańsk is the Polish symbol of freedom, so it's no accident that the festival devoted to the multicultural music is taking place right here. Siesta Festival is all about respect for different cultures, celebrating ethnic diversity, respect for other countries' traditions, and what's really important, a process of erasing historical divisions. The 10th edition of Lotos Siesta Festival will open with the Gypsy Jazz concert - the performance of the fastest guitarist in the world, Joscho Stephan and his band. The star-studded lineup features Lucia de Carvalho, Yami, Richard Bona, Anabela Aya, Lura, Elida Almeida, Nancy Vieira, Teofilo Chantre from Cabo Verde. Traditionally, the festival ends with a free, cheerful, sensual African night at the Parliament club.
