The third edition of the Baltic Opera Festival returns to the Forest Opera in Sopot and other prestigious venues in Gdańsk with a powerful theme: loneliness and exclusion in today’s unstable world. Conceived by Tomasz Konieczny, the festival blends world-class opera with the haunting beauty of natural and historic venues. This year’s programme features works by Strauss, Penderecki, Schubert, and contemporary composers, interpreted by international stars. From Salome under the trees to staged oratorios and Kashubian song, the festival offers profound artistic experiences that reflect the fragility of our time and ask: Whither goest thou, human?
