Young artists offer a vivid commentary on the contemporary world in “Let Me Tell You About Half-Dreams" the second exhibition drawn from mBank’s donated collection at the National Museum in Gdańsk. Exhibiting at its branch in the old town's Green Gate, the exhibition highlights works created between 2020 and 2024 by artists under 35, both established and emerging, who have been selected for their experimental and interdisciplinary approaches. These works aim to show how young Polish artists navigate a world marked by climate, social, and emotional crises while forging their own artistic language. Engaging with emotion, myth, intuition, and memory, the works blur boundaries between painting, sculpture, and installation through experimental forms and materials. From contemporary fables to ecological reflections, the pieces create an introspective portrait of a generation seeking meaning as much as form. This unprecedented donation marks a milestone for public art in Poland.
