The Ampersand Foundation celebrates 21 years of suppporting the arts with this group exhibition at the UJ Arts Gallery. The Ampersand Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust established in 1997 by art collector and patron Jack Ginsberg. The foundation seeks to celebrate and reward excellence in the visual arts and every year a young South African contemporary artist is granted an Ampersand Fellowship award which includes the opportunity to live in New York as part of an artist residency.
