The featured poet for the Sat, Nov 11 edition is the remarkable Lebo Mashile, an award-winning poet, author, presenter, actress, and producer. Lebo is a household name in South Africa, known for her lyrical and powerful poetry that has mesmerised audiences in 28 countries over the last two decades. The event is also hosted by MoAfrika wa Mokgathi, a passionate advocate for the arts and culture scene.

This unique event borrows its name from the 2-5-1 musical chord progression, also known as (ii-V-I), which is a common musical convention of three consecutive chords that effectively establish a key, the salon's segments include two songs, five books and one set performance of exhibition.
