Have a fun-filled family day out at The Field Berry Farm in the South of Joburg, the perfectly wholesome way to celebrate the start of spring. Their Almond Blossom Festival has been extended to Sat, Sep 2 and Sun, Sep 3. 

Enjoy a 1.5km walk through blossoming almond trees and take in the sights of nature shaking off it's winter leaves. The kids can embark on a mini-stamp hunt at this Japanese-themed event, while you make a day of it and enjoy lunch from various food vendors selling drinks and food. You can also explore Japanese-inspired street food for something unique.

Fun for the kids can also be found on the obstacle course and jungle gym as well as open bicycle tracks so bring  bikes and helmets along for some added enjoyment. 

Booking before your visit is essential. All you need to do is select the date you'll be attending and you'll receive an email confirmation. You can pay your entrance fee when you arrive but note that the farm is a cash-free environment.
