Enjoy an intimate evening at the Soweto Theatre with award-winning jazz bassist Herbie Tsoaeli and his band The Herbie Tsoaeli Sandi Ensemble Assembly. Tsoaeli has played with iconic South African musicians like Hugh Maskela, Miriam Makeba and Simphiwe Dana and in recent years launched his own career as a solo musician. Tsoaeli gained much acclaim for his album <em>Afrikan Time </em> which he describes as being influenced by South African township backyards with lyrics that echo quintessential South African experiences.
