Bassline Fest is celebrating Africa Day by bringing back the queen of Afro-soul, Lira, to the stage at Constitution Hill. Partnered with The Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture in association with Castle Lite, the Bassline Fest will be Lira's triumphant return to the stage with a band, after a two-year recovery from a stroke she had in March 2022.

What makes this performance and festival extra special this year is that Bassline Fest is celebrating its 30th anniversary alongside 30 years of democracy in South Africa, as well as the new Lira.  The festival will announce the rest of the lineup at a later stage. In addition to a lineup of great performances, there will be artisanal markets selling various African food, arts, and crafts, as well as bars and other food and drink stalls.

Celebrate this special day of the continent's resilience, culture and unity on Sat, May 25 by grabbing your tickets now.
