Bassline SUMMER at Constitution Hill ends the year off with an exciting music line-up of established and upcoming artists. Headliners include multi-award-winning, Samthing Soweto and Urban-Soul singer-songwriter Langa Mavuso. Joining them are female artists Melo B Jones and Rah Punzl. Blending together Hip-hop, Jazz, and South African tribal music are LaliBoi with producer Spoek Mathambo, and then there's a;so Cape Town based Beatenberg. 

Adding to the talented line-up, you can expect a craft market with local artists, makers, and unique small businesses selling handmade goods and artworks. Enjoy refreshments from the beer garden and food vendors.

This year, Bassline SUMMER is a part of Johannesburg's annual Arts Alive Festival, which features a variety of artistic programmes with artists from various fields of the creative industries – including music, fashion, craft, comedy, dance, theatre, visual art and cultural educational workshops – adding to the development and training of upcoming artists.
