Although Africa Day’s official date is May 25, Joburg’s Joziburg Lane, a food hall and market in the city, will be celebrating on Saturday May 26. Teaming up with black entrepreneur-collective BrownSense, Joziburg Lane presents the Afrikan Food Festival, a feast of traditional cuisine from around Africa with an array of indigenous crafts also on sale.
