To mark Human Rights Day, the Constitutional Court Art Collection unveils its latest acquisition, The Dead Zone, a photography portfolio by Pulitzer Prize-winning South African photojournalist Greg Marinovich. The collection of 41 digital photography prints surveys South Africa in the early 1990s, as it was engulfed in violence and struggling for democracy. The photos join hundreds of other artworks that make up the court's impressive contemporary art collection, which is kept on display in the Constitutional Court's public galleries. 

To mark the occasion Greg Marinovich will be discussing his life and work with historian and artist Karel Nel at the opening of the exhibition on Thu Mar 21 at 11:00.
