Inganekwane is a new group exhibition by the Of Soul and Joy Photo Project from Thokoza – a social art initiative helping youth from the southeast Joburg township to develop their artistic skills through photography.  The exhibition at Constitution Hill showcases new works by 16 photographers who attended of Soul and Joy's six-month Khumalo Street mentorship program that includes weekly photographic workshops led by renowned African photographers.

Curator Teboho Ralesai has named the exhibition Inganekwane, a Nguni word that means storytelling or narrative performance, as the selected images by this year's Khumalo Street students tell through photography the stories of growing up in the community of Thokoza.

Sat Oct 2 from 15:00 to 18:00 Exhibition opening event. Entrance to the exhibition opening is free, but tickets must be reserved online in advance. Book your spot here.
