In celebration of Freedom Day on Thu, Apr 27, The Bioscope will host a special screening of Mandela In Chicago. The documentary is a collection of stories of Chicago activists who played a fundamental role in the garnering of support to push for an end to apartheid. The film also details Nelson Mandela's visit to Chicago in 1993 following his release from Robben Island.
