On good weather days, of which Joburg has many, the place is super busy. It's also open until 22:00 daily amid the well-lit courts and with secure parking, makes a great after-hours activity spot. Padel and Social Club also host birthday parties and team-building events, and offer coaching, and there are several social clubs to join if you're in the mood, including the Ms Hits and Madams of Mayhem for women wanting to learn the sport. The restaurant has a coffee counter if you're on-the-go, and casual food to re-fuel post-match. We rate the frittata (Spanish pan-omelettes) or try the smoothie bowls, rustic sandwiches and tortillas, as well as yummy pizzas and bar snacks to share. The drinks menu is compact yet comprehensive, and there's a menu for little champs as well.
