Sandton City's Words That Heal pop-up
Created in collaboration with Sandton City and the Riky Rick Foundation (read more about the campaign), the space features limited-edition T-shirts (R750), hoodies (R1,250), and scarves (R300). With designs by acclaimed artist Samurai Farai, this project is inspired by "artivism" – the powerful fusion of art and activism championed by the late rapper, Riky Rick.
All proceeds go to the Riky Rick Foundation, supporting youth mental well-being and creative healing. You can also pledge your support online at rikyrickfoundation.co.za/pledges.
More than just a shopping stop, Words That Heal is a call to spark hope, raise awareness, and keep conversations around mental health alive. Every day, South Africa loses an estimated 23 people to suicide, with hundreds more attempting to take their lives. Through this initiative, Sandton City aims to continue to provide hope, raise awareness, and champion meaningful conversations around mental health.
