1. EGG Beauty opens at The Zone @ Rosebank: Lovers of local beauty, rejoice! Meet your new go-to for homegrown skincare, makeup, and wellness faves like Standard Beauty, Swiitch Beauty, Lelive, and many more. It's EGG Beauty's first standalone store in Johannesburg – and it's a stunner.

2. Style meets healing at Words That Heal: An experiential pop-up at Sandton City with the Riky Rick Foundation. Shop limited-edition tees, hoodies, and scarves designed by Samurai Farai until Sun, Nov 9, 2025 – all proceeds support the Foundation, championing youth mental health, a cause close to the heart of artist Farai, and one for which he has long been a vocal advocate.

3. Local luxe with Foschini x RICH MNISI: This limited-edition collab marks 10 years of designer Rich Mnisi’s iconic designs and 100 years of Foschini. Get kaftans, skirts, boxy tees, and more in playful florals and bold "scramble" prints. It's effortless style at prices that love you back. 4. Modular design dreams at 223 Jan Smuts: An exhibition you can shop? From office staple to contemporary design standout, 60 & 10 celebrates six decades of Swiss brand USM and 10 years of its local sales partner Magicode Africa. Minimalist style, thoughtful design, and gorgeous colourways. On show until Wed, Nov 5, 2025 in a beautiful, art-filled space. 

5. A gardener’s must-have: South African Indigenous Garden Plants – The Gardener’s Guide is a beautifully illustrated handbook, a decade in the making. Co-authored by experts Andrew Hankey, Elsa Pooley, and Geoff Nichols, it covers climate, garden styles, spatial planning, and over 2,400 indigenous species – making sustainable, ecologically rewarding gardening accessible to all. 6. We salute Jozi My Jozi for the Dignity Boutique Initiative at Constitution Hill. On Thu, Oct 30, in commemoration of World Homeless Day, the Dignity Boutique will offer haircuts, ID support, clothing, meals, and connections to partner services in an effort to restore dignity and mobilise public and corporate participation in long-term change. You can join in by volunteering, donating to shelters and service organisations, funding an ID (R300), sponsoring a haircut (R50), or simply shifting the narrative from stigma to empathy. The Joburg Artist Market (formerly 27 Boxes) is buzzing again. New arrivals include Daily by designer Joey Khuvutlu, serving sleek Scandinavian-inspired furniture with a local twist, and Floyd Avenue, bringing streetwear flair with signature, locally made denim.

Mall hours just got longer
Get festive-ready at Fourways Mall, now open 09:00 – 20:00 daily and 09:00 – 19:00 on Sun and public holidays, with free parking after 17:00. Shopping made easy: Gautrain to Parkhurst

Getting to one of Joburg's favourite shopping hotspots just got simpler. The Gautrain Midibus now links Rosebank to Parkhurst, making it quick and easy to explore 4th Avenue's many boutiques, cafés, and markets. Tickets are just R13, with buses timed to train schedules.
