Taylor Hunt Yoga Intensive
Ashtanga Yoga JHB hosts a series of workshops in May with US-based yoga teacher and author Taylor Hunt. Hunt is the director of the Trini Foundation (a non-profit organisation that aims to bring the life-changing practice of yoga to people who have suffered alcohol and drug addiction). He teaches daily classes at the Ashtanga Yoga Columbus campus and has the rare distinction of having achieved the highest level of commendation from Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in India. In Johannesburg he will be leading a 3-day workshop series in the Mysore style (one-on-one in a group setting) on Ashtanga Yoga.

Fri May 11 Dharma Talk
Explaining the philosophies behind Ashtanga yoga, Hunt shares his yoga journey and life story in an interactive discussion, with plenty of informative tips on how to incorporate Ashtanga yoga’s values into daily living. From 17:30-19:30.

Sat May 12 Align Your Practice: Adjustment and Alignment Clinic
Designed for Ashtanga devotees wishing to take their practice to the next level, Hunt guides yogis through the proper alignment and adjustment techniques that intensify the postures safely. From 11:30-13:30.

Sun May 13 Transitions: Lifiting Up and Jumping Back
