Initiated by Usha Seejarim and Diana Hyslop from Joburg's The Bag Factory artist studios and curated by Brazilian curator Daniella Géo, this group exhibition brings together works by 19 artists from 11 different countries under the theme of transcending, transgressing, transposing and transforming.

The exhibition includes a broad range of work in a variety of media including fine art, interactive installations and performance art. Featured artists include leading South African names like Kagiso Pat Mautloa, David Koloane, Sam Nhlengethwa, Lady Skollie and Blessing Ngobeni as well as Barbadian filmmaker Alberta Whittle, multi-disciplinary Belgian artist Ives Maes and African-American photographer Pat Ward Williams.
