This humble bakery has gone big-time with a winning effort directly on Grodzka Street that is essentially two venues in one. Streetside it's a small, casual cafe, ideal for coffee and a croissant - which you can see (and smell) them baking fresh on-site. It's the back of the building, however, that is the real stunner. Built on the bones of a ruined synagogue, the very stylish interiors retain only scant traces of this history in the front doors and the arches of the many windows, but the soft curves, earth tones, palm trees, cacti and abundance of natural light give the space a warm, almost Moorish ambiance. Set over two appealing levels, with a bar downstairs and a lovely glass atrium up top, there are plenty of spaces for intimate dinners and private parties, big or small.

Previously known for their artisanal bread, Chleb & More has scaled up, serving a concise menu of Polish dishes, including pierogi, duck breast with Silesian dumplings and several vegetarian and children's options. The prices aren't super cheap, or the portions very large, but try their interpretation of 'maczanka krakowska' or the herring appetiser. Better yet, stop by between 09:00 and 13:00 for delicious breakfasts (eggs benedict, skakshuka) served with their delicious bread - a great opportunity to soak up the atmosphere. The bar also offers the chance to stop in for a glass of wine or fancy drink and admire the design - truly impressive.
