Festivalt is an independent arts collective that produces an annual program of critically minded art and activism addressing the complexities of Jewish culture in Poland today. Blending variety of visual arts and community conversation, Festivalt brings wit, insight, and a bit of chutzpah to Jewish Poland today, while at the same time sparking important debate and reflection. It draws devoted followers to small performance spaces, parks and art galleries. There are theatre spectacles, site-specific performance art, photography, music – and of course plenty of discussion around Jewish identity, memory and place.
