Part of the series 'Library Interventions' this small exhibit in MOCAK's Porębski Library explores the phenomenon of book collections, and what they reveal about the passions, aspirations and shortcomings of their collectors. In Sawicka's work, the collection writes its own narrative based on the proximity of specific volumes. In her library intervention at MOCAK, she has given old books new titles and repainted their dust covers, thus invalidating their original content, and arranged them in such a way as to provoke examination.
