Jan Hrynkowski was a painter, graphic artist, theatre designer and co-creator of the Polish 20th century avant-garde. This exhibition examines his work alongside documents, photographs and writings of other representatives of Polish Expressionism, later known as Formism. This modern art movement predating WWI proclaimed a departure from Realism and the solidification of the superiority of form over content.
