Straight from the doctor’s ‘cold, dead hands,’ Stanisław Wcisło’s collection of Canadian weapons includes 193 long guns, 49 short guns, bayonets and helmets. The most important pieces are small arms, the oldest of which were produced in the 1870s and include guns made up until the 1970s. A big part of the exhibit are also the 500 army pins from around the world collected by Stanisław Filus, later donated to the museum by his son. At the exhibit you can test your skills with Polish guns at virtual reality stations. Dr. Stanisław Wcisło fought in the Polish Home Army during WWII and after the war he immigrated to Canada, where he began his collection of military items.
