Karl Marx vs Moby Dick: An Analysis of Form & Demolition of Ideas

Oct 26 - Mar 24 2019       ul. Lipowa 4
In the work collected in this exhibit, sculptor Krzysztof M. Bednarski ('KMB') uses the recurring motifs of Moby Dick (the great white whale) and Karl Marx (the socialist revolutionary) as artistic fodder for an esoteric discussion of how multiple meanings can be imposed on objects we perceive to already have prescribed symbolic roles. Or it might just be a bunch of bald busts, boats and blowholes. You decide?

Open 11:00-19:00. Closed Mon. Oct 26 2018 - Mar 24 2019
