Designed in collaboration with selected craftsmen from across the globe, and hand-made from natural materials, it's easy to see how the background of creator Martyna Wilde - who studied Fashion Theory and Cultural Studies at Jagiellonian University, and is also a yoga instructor - informs the brand's commitment to comfort, universal forms, freedom of movement and fair trade. Dominated by earthy colours, Mapaya's style could be summarised as contemporary urban ethno grunge.
