As advertised, this simple restaurant features a menu you know, but executed to perfection with original ingredients imported directly from Italy. Enter past the open kitchen into a lovely dining room that nicely blends historic details (timber ceiling, columns) with modern touches, or step out into their all-weather covered patio (heated in winter, cooled in summer). A casual, communal, family atmosphere abounds, enhanced by very professional service. Since 2016, Pasta Bar has been run by two sisters, who have created a warm community of friends and long-time staff. Choose from delicious pastas (including gluten-free options), ravioli, gnocchi, pizzas and salads - all made on-site from fresh, authentic, quite often seasonal ingredients - and pair your meal with a glass or bottle from their extensive wine list. Food prices are arguably below market (and you can fill up on complimentary fresh bread with olive oil and vinegar); just watch how often you fill your wine glass.
