Pożegnanie z Afryką

  ul. Św. Tomasza 21 ,   Old Town          (+48) 12 421 23 39     more than a year ago

Taking its name - Out of Africa - from Karen Blixen's memoir turned film about African colonial life on a coffee plantation, this obscure, dark and textured coffeeshop is very serious about their beans, offering a huge variety from around the world. Whatever you choose will be brewed individually in your prefered method (Aeropress, Chemex, drip, espresso, etc) while you admire the coffee-stained, colonial-era, wayfaring décor surrounding you. In addition to on-the-spot coffee, the cafe also serves as a shop (open 10:00-19:00; Sat, Sun 10:00-17:00) offering over 60 varieties of coffee beans and over 100 different kinds of tea from around the world (sold by weight), brewing equipment, chocolate, liquers, oils and more. They also have a small outpost in Galeria Krakowska, and a larger settlement outside of the centre near Park Decjusza (ul. Królowej Jadwigi 248).
