Salvador Sobral is a Portuguese soul and jazz singer, the winner of 2017 Eurovision Contest. He gave Portugal its first ever win singing the song "Amar pelos dois" (Love for both of us) which he composed together with his sister, singer-songwriter Luisa Sobral. The song is a jazz waltz and it pays tribute to Portugal's folk traditions. In 2016 he released his debut studio album "Excuse Me", although he himself admits he prefers playing live.
