Attuned towards tourists, this Pan-European please-all restaurant offers pizza, pasta, burgers and Polish standards, as well as some solid breakfast sets (served until 12:00). Somewhere between casual and upscale, the decor - with its humdrum paintings and clashing patterns - comes across as dated, and a few złoty could also be clipped off the prices. Though the location and large windows are pluses, and there's a surehanded competency throughout, so too are there many opportunities to eat in more characteristic and memorable surroundings than these in Kraków.

Dreadful.I'd happened upon this place accidently late last year and was pleasantly surprised with the food - my first visit's meal would be oft repeated over the following months zurek (the best I'd had in Krakow hands down) and trout roasted along with potatoes onions and bell peppers. Nothing complicated but done to perfection with the bill coming to somewhere in the low to mid 30 pln range. My partner would usually order the same. We hadn't tried anything else on the menu as it didn't look quite as appealing and we were just hooked.Tonight I was sorely disappointed to realise that I'm going to have to find another place to eat. Arriving this evening absolutely famished and looking to dig into our regular order we were presented with a menu sans zurek. Not to be put off be decided to forego the soup (which would have been either an cream of asparagus or french onion) and order what we thought to be our favourite trout dish. After waiting for about the same time as always our waitress brought us a new (but quite diminished) version of the dish. What had been a generous serving chunky peppers potatoes and onions was replaced with a mix of small pieces of peppers and DILL PICKLES (?!) set in a dreary swirl of what might as well have been (or may have well been) INSTANT mashed potatoes. The fish was slapped on top of this. One would think that we would have lost our appetites after a few bites which we almost did but in fact we were left quite hungry. In the past I'd never been able to finish the dish usually leaving it to my partner to lick clean but we somehow choked it down and hightailed it out of there in search of something edible. So all in all we left with empty stomachs lighter wallets (yes on top of eliminating quality they'd jacked up the prices) and slight nausea. Peeking at the menu again while leaving we'd realized that the change in the dish had in fact been listed on the description in the new menu - albeit somewhat ambiguously the aforementioned dill pickle mess was "ratatouille" (?!)
