Kraków spoils live music fans each summer with over a month of daily jazz concerts during the Summer Jazz Festival.First organised in 1996 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the important artistic and literary venue Piwnica Pod Baranami, the festival has gradually grown into the biggest jazz festival in Poland. In addition to daily evening concerts at Piwnice Pod Baranami - a small, historic jazz club on the Kraków Market Square - headline concerts by international acts will take place at the Philharmonic, ICE and Manggha Museum, including Marcus Miller (July 17), the Yellowjackets (July 24) and Michel Camilo (August 12).
