The goal of this exhibition is to present Kraków as a modern metropolis with a medieval heritage. It presents a series of panels in an electronic form displaying artworks and architectural landmarks which are a testimony to this most Polish of all city’s cultural heritage. It takes the visitor on a journey through the ages, beginning with Kraków as one of the most cosmopolitan European centres of the Medieval era, through the period of decline after it lost its position as the country’s capital, onto modern times as Kraków is reclaiming its position as the multicultural metropolis - the cultural and intellectual heart of Poland.
