<p>This exhibit dedicated to freedom fighter <a href="https://www.inyourpocket.com/krakow/Tadeusz-Kosciuszko_70374f">Tadeusz Kościuszko</a> has been organised as part of a programme commemorating the 200th anniversary of the national hero’s death. The Polish general fought in the American War of Independence before leading a rebellion against Russia and Prussia in 1794. So beloved a patriot that the Poles built an enormous <a href="https://www.inyourpocket.com/krakow/kosciuszko-mound_97692v">mound for him in Kraków</a>, this exhibit examines the cult surrounding Kościuszko through 150 objects bearing his likeness, including famous images of the general, as well as mass-produced memorabilia.</p>
