Kraków's Unsound Festival is an annual festival of experimental and club music that pushes the boundaries of what we even consider music. One of Europe's more unusual music festivals, many of the concerts take place in alternative, non-traditional music venues. Founded in 2003 by Mat Schulz, an Australian expat and fan of esoteric, experimental and genre-defying music, Unsound started as a small local festival before quickly growing into a music industry phenomenon with international editions as far afield as New York, London, Adelaide, Toronto and more. The lineup includes many international artists, some of whom perform projects commissioned specifically for the event, and with the venue in mind.
Each year's festival has a theme, and 2025's unifying theme is 'Web,' which will bring together more than 100 artists working in adventurous music. Head to the official website to see the full programme, including this year's artists and venues.
