Using a ground-breaking method of plastination to preserve bodies, this fascinating exhibition aims to educate visitors about the choices we make and the effects that they have on our bodies. Though some people may find the thought of viewing such works as unsettling, the exhibition is not at all gruesome and each body is respectfully positioned to represent everyday activities or movements showing how the organs, vascular system, skeleton and muscle groups function. Prof Gunther von Hagens’ exhibition has been touring Europe for three years and will be on show in Ljubljana until January 2019.
