Hidden away in the heart of the city centre, just opposite Zvezda Park and Kongresni Trg, this sleek subterranean eatery serves up some masterful meat dishes to match its beautifully designed interior. When we'd heard that space formerly serving as an iconic student pub was now a restaurant we didn't know what exactly to expect, but from the light fixtures on the exposed brick ceilings and the elegant tables and chairs to the aged steaks on the plates and selection of some 80 beers to accompany them, our expectations were far exceeded at every proverbial turn. Even for those who've joined Team Vegetarian it's worth stopping by for a drink, as the bar resembles something of a steampunk version Cantina from the original Star Wars with a splash of Blade Runner, and is well-stocked all the way up to those brick ceilings with all manner of spirits.
