Colourful Visions of Ancient Rome

May 16 - Jul 28 2019
An opportunity to reflect on the affinity between our cultures and the different shades that characterize the 21 original mosaics from the collection of the Capitoline Museums in Rome, dated between I century b.C. and IV century a.C. They anticipate the distinction between art and design - an important evidence from the past, elegance of the decoration, and  variety of nuances in colors and materials that allow us to make a confrontation with the past. Opening at 18:00 on May 15, at the National Archaelogical Museum, ul. Saborna 2.
