"The Limits of Art" is the third project of the "Generations" program, to be presented at the "Dechko Uzunov" Art Gallery.  Solo exhibitions dedicated to the students of Dechko Uzunov; after Kalina Taseva and Elza Goeva, another famous artist is now a guest - Ivan B. Ivanov. Along with Ivan Bonev, Boycho Grigorov, Stoyan Rakarov, Dora Boneva, Svetlin Rusev and Dragan Nemtsov, he is among the 1959 graduates of Fine Art in Uzunov's class at the National Academy of Arts.

From his early student years until today, Ivan B. Ivanov is well versed in the reproduction of nature, but it does not excite him in the academic sense of studying form, instead it becomes an occasion for composition and color improvisations; constantly trying to discover new states of matter and spirit. It is through the themes of "Music", "Circus" and "Abstraction" that the artist manages to best do his research. Music as an art form captivates him.  In the desire to explore positions, movement and condition, Ivan B. Ivanov turns to acrobats, clowns and magicians.

The exhibition  features selected gouaches and watercolors from different periods.
