Warsaw

Białołęka

You may think there's no good reason to head to Warsaw's north-eastern residential district. In the past, you may have been right, but this leafy residential district is continually getting bigger and there are more things to see and do here, whether you are passing through or actually live here. The main reason you may find yourself in Białołęka is to ride your bike along Wał Wiślany (the riverside flood defence which also has a bike and walking path on top of it) which stretches from the south of the district all the way to the town of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki outside of Warsaw to the north. Shopaholics may be pulled to the area by Galeria Północna Shopping Mall which opened in 2017. The district also has its own public beach.
